Pro Party Tip: When you have an odd or awkward wall or space, use it to your advantage! In this party, we used an odd jut out in the wall to become a tree with kraft paper and ivy and it set the scene beautifully!

Pro Party Tip: You don't always have to have the fanciest, most expensive things to make a party epic! For this party, free pallets from a home improvement store were used to create ship forms and empty carpet tubes and cardboard boxes created canons that were ready for a cannonball (black water balloon) battle between the Jolly Roger and the Flying Dutchman! All after a clue hunt to find buried treasure. All of these tips and more are included in this pirate box plus everything else you need to make it awesome!

Pro Party Tip: When you have a TV show, or character themed party, take full advantage of the character's skills or interests and turn them into activities! It allows kids of all ages to have space and not feel overwhelmed.

Pro Party Tip: For a history loving guest of honor, check out surrounding museums to host your party! For this party, we used the museum (that had the perfect Hogan's bunkroom) as a "scavenger hunt/escape room" with all sorts of coded messages and hidden secrets to uncover!

Pro Party Tip: Parties aren't limited to one simple idea. Sometimes you take a bunch of ideas and likes, and then find a way to make sense of it all. This party came from a discussion of frilly, "fru fru" pink and purple, boho, and florals. Upon further inquiry into "boho" meaning, it was mostly bows and arrows. Thus, the animated Maid Marian theme was born, a theme with which the Mama fell in love!

Party Pro Tip: There's something special about food memories at parties so a little extra creativity can go a long way! The pasta bar at this party complete with a variety of sauces, noodles and add-ins baked in personal pans made for fun (and new) experiences for guests of all ages! Pro Party Tip: It's amazing that when given the opportunity, girls naturally are graceful (for the most part) with tea cups and fancy dining. So don't shy away from having little glass tea cups to drink from, but if you are worried, having a low to the ground table with pillows eliminates most issues and adds a bit of whimsy and perhaps some Mediterranean or Asian princess magic to the party as well!

Pro Party Tip: Food can be such a fun tool especially for kids when you add a little extra playfulness to it! Cutie oranges make for darling tiger faces with the use of a sharpie. A great cookie designer like Inga's Cookies can also help you set the theme by placing them throughout your food or setting them in a special dish. Zaboo (Wild Kratts lemur in the older days) had certain foods he loved and would make him talk, so those food choices became a part of the grazing board. Let food tell the story and enjoy the creativity!

Pro Party Tip: Choose themes with things you may already have lying around! This theme was easy to pull together from a great grandfather's barn full of old truck parts and tools etc. It also adds a bit of sentimental nostalgia that always makes a celebration even more special especially when your loved one isn't around anymore to celebrate! Party Pro Tip: Outside parties are so much fun! But weather always can be unpredictable from rain, to wind to cold, to heat, to bees etc. Come prepared with a plan B and if possible have some canopy tents with walls. This can protect from wind, rain and also help moderate temperatures with propane heaters, fans or misters. Also, plan to have items on the tables that are heavy and don't blow away easily. Placing favor bags on plates can help and using boxes for individual food servings makes it fun while preventing bug issues.

It fosters more openness and discussion and keeps things moving at a good pace for the deeper dives.
