Liberty & Providence Cheese Spread - Chavamade

Liberty & Providence Cheese Spread

In celebration of America's 250, we have created three colonial inspired, tea infused recipes using our patriotic tea blends.

While cream cheese and cheddar in this exact form are more modern, flavored cheese dishes were common on colonial tables. Herbs from the kitchen garden, preserved fruits, nuts, and cheeses were often served alongside tea, bread, and biscuits during social gatherings. Rosemary and thyme were particularly valued both for flavor and for their ease of growing in household gardens.

This savory version highlights the rosemary, thyme, and spice notes found in Liberty & Providence while allowing the apples and nuts on the side to provide a touch of natural sweetness—creating a balance that feels right at home for an America 250 tea celebration.
